Core & Main: Fiscal Q2 Earnings Snapshot
ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Core & Main Inc. (CNM) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $115 million.
On a per-share basis, the St. Louis-based company said it had profit of 67 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 89 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 53 cents per share.
The distributor of water and fire protection products posted revenue of $1.86 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.72 billion.
